The Secondary School of Taipas (SSST) is located in the village of Caldas das Taipas, in the northern part of the Municipality of Guimarães, in the Vale do Ave region. Currently attend the school about 1200 students, spread over 29 classes of the scientific-humanities courses and 19 classes of the Vocational Courses for a total of 763 and 438 students respectively. The school, based on its experience in several European projects and international activities, realises, in the strategic development of its educational project, the need for greater openness and integration into the European space policy. Thus, and considering the internationalization perspective, we identified a set of strategies to be implemented that allow, through the different management structures and teachers, with natural and consequent impact on its direct beneficiaries - students and families –the integration of the European dimension, through international activities, promoting employability, entrepreneurship and access to the European labor market, with a strong awareness of the issues of environmental sustainability, multilingualism and social cohesion in Europe. Therefore we have identified areas for action and set very well defined goals: the school wants teachers to acquire, through this project, tools - in the areas of intercultural, English language and ICT - to enable the establishment of platforms of communication and from that to work with various schools in Europe level, creating, in the medium and long term properly grounded partnerships in the field of teaching and learning. After the identification of the main needs in terms of teacher training based on the school strategy and its future plans, it became clear that the areas of intercultural, technological innovation for teaching and English language skills should be included in the professional development of teachers. The participants in the mobilities, 31 teachers, will be selected from the different departments, given some of the questions we want to address to. Among the planned mobilities we could refer, for example, the following: with the institution "Euneos" within the course "How to make your school more international", which will allow some teachers, (after the mobiliites) to promote innovation; with the institution "York Associates in teaching in the field of "Empowerment in ICT Skills" that will allow teachers, representing the different subject groups, the acquisition / development of skills in the use of ICT and the deepening of knowledge in terms of communication in English, development of education, as well as at a level of different pedagogical approaches. Concerning activities, and according to a first schedule, the following will be held: in September / October, we will start the whole process of information of the Erasmus + program and project "Update _ Upskilling People, followed by a round of applications which will end with the definition of an action plan to implement after the mobilities. An intermediate stage (up to December) we plan to complete the application process and the first contacts with training organizations will be initiated. By the end of February the detailed plans of training and preparation activities of the participants will be established. Between March and June mobilities will take place. During the month of July there will be the dissemination of results (at different stages and for different audiences) and the preparation of training workshops due to begin in September. By the end of December all training activities will be held and we carry out the dissemination of the project and its results, as well as the final evaluation of the project. Having in mind the school's internationalization plan, this project should contribute greatly to a more modern, dynamic, committed and professional environment within the organization, which should integrate the best practices and new methods in its daily activities, opening up to the synergies with active organizations in different social fields, educational and employment strategically by planning the professional development of teachers (taking into account the individual needs and organizational objectives), reaching therefore, one of its main objectives: to be able to attract excellent students and teachers from all over Europe.
