A team of 4 teachers from the European High School (EHS), which is part of the school BRGORG 15, Vienna, would like to attend the professional development seminar by Mag. Tanja Kaufmann (www.eu-seminar.com) with the title "EU-Seminar in Piran, New Ressources for education". This seminar is aimed at educators from all fields, including school management and adult education. Contentwise, this seminar combines elements from "personal development" and subject specific content (self management, ressource management, systemics and braingym) with intercultural contact and networking. Our school will profit from the team building experience for our newly formed EHS-Team. Furthermore, promoting and establishing contact to future European project partners is essential for a school with a focus on Europe. Opportunities for personal and professional development will be explored and will be incorporated into the teaching routine to increase efficiency. The EHS-Team will work together to plan and develop preparatory material for this seminar and will cooperate in evaluating new methods and their integration into teaching after the seminar. In the long run, quality and sustainability especially in the subject "European Studies", should be ensured by a variety of methods and resource management.
