The project of the European Voluntary Service will enable for all participating organizations the awareness of intercultural differences and intercultural competence.The AWO integration gGmbH allows as host organization through the Ingenhammshof the experiences of natural and primeval environment.Volunteers can participate activeliy to their own daily routines. The structured daily routine and regular meals offer the volunteers support in the unknown environment. Therefore the Volunteers get the chance to develop their personality and in particular to build up self-confidence.The partnerships built up an awareness of intercultural specificities and encourage tolerance, empathy and respect for this culture-specific features.The European Voluntary Service reduce discrimination tendencies within their own country and across boundaries from long-term point of view. the European feeling of community is strenghten and a nationwide social sense of community will be encouraged.
