The project I CAN SAY „NO" will be implemented from July to November 2014, in the village Breasta Dolj County , yet the actual exchange will take place place between 5 September until 13 September, 2014. This project is part of the ERASMUS + programme, action type-Youth Mobility. The initiative of writing the project - I CAN SAY „NO" came from three volunteers of the association, "We are different", young people coming from Breasta village, Dolj County, who presented, disappointed and worried , the situation of young people in their community, making direct reference to the outburst that sexuality and promiscuity gained among youngsters in their community and the more frequent cases of dropout, especially among minors who choose to get married , even carrying babies at very young ages. During the 9 days of the project, using non-formal methods, such as LIVING LIBRARY, WRITING THEATRE, RELATIONAL EXCHANGES , LABYRINTH THEATRE and various games, the 36 young people from Bulgaria, Turkey and Romania will mainly aim at the reduction of the exposure of young people from rural area to sexually transmitted diseases, increasing their knowledge of the risks they are submitted to due to the ignorance of contraceptive methods, increasing their communication about a controversial topic and their awareness on these issues that can cost them their lives. The participants involved in this project are young people with ages between 15 and 26 years, nine of them coming from rural areas. By participating in this project, young people will understand the risks they are exposed to when engaging in unprotected sex and / or when they are in a crisis and they are not asking for help. Thus, this exchange experience with young people coming from countries where non formal methods regarding the education on sensitive topics are used, will help us be closer to European culture, giving and taking over an extremely effective model of good practice. The participants of the project will tie friendships and cooperation relationships, leading to the development of new projects and exchanges, a benefit both for the individuals involved, the organizations from which they come, and overall, the entire society.
