Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

One of the EU strategic goals for the period 2011-2020 is the improvement of the quality and efficiency of the vocational education and training as well as making vocational education more attractive and important so that it could satisfy the needs of the labour market and contribute to the economic growth of the EU and its member countries.Consequently, the goal of the vocational education is to improve its quality, primarily through continuous education in the field of new technologies and implementation of new teaching methods and curricula. In order to meet the requirements, that is, to improve the quality of vocational education, including the competences of its students, Technical school Sisak has been carrying out numerous activities which enable the students to become more competitive at the labour market once they have finished their education.Technical school Sisak has been trying to achieve this target through continuous education of the teaching personnel, providing equipping for school workshops, implementing new, modern curricula based on learning outcomes and carrying out numerous projects in the form of project teaching. All those activities ensure that after graduating students have vocational competences relevant and competitive at the labout market. However, they lack experience of practical work in companies because the number of companies has considerably decreased due to the economic crisis and there is very little chance for the students to do practical training and gain work experience. Therefore, Technical school Sisak has tried to organise practical training for its students through EU funds, especially Leonardo da Vinci and Erasmus+ programmes.Until now, Technical school Sisak has carried out five mobility projects for students, as well as for the teaching personnel who have completed their training in Germany, Ireland, Slovenia and Spain.By doing their practical training in European companies, the students of Technical school Sisak will gain necessary work experience which is one of the key competences for the labour market. The main target of this project is to improve the competences of vocational students of Technical school Sisak by enabling them to complete their practical training in Italian companies and thus improve their competitiveness at the labour market.Specific targets of the project are to improve linguistic and cultural competences of the students and stimulate their personal and professional development.Project "Through EU experience to competencies for labour market" will be realised through a two weeks practical training for the senior (4th year) students of Technical school Sisak in the following professions: computer technician in the field of mechanical engineering, technician for electric machines with applied computing, technician for electronics, IT technician and ecology technician. Students will be sent to practical training in Italian companies, round Bologna in the Emilia-Romagna region, one of the strongest industrial regions in the EU, and with the highest GDP rate in Italy.During their practical training the students will be able to test their knowledge and skills, gain new knowledge and skills, acquire new work methods and technologies that are still not used in Croatia, improve their professional and comunicational skills, improve their knowledge of the English language, learn the basics of the Italian language and familiarise with a different culture. In this way both main and specific targets of the project will be realised, and the students will gain new competences which will distinguish them at the labour market. As a proof of those new competences they will get a Europass mobility document.Direct beneficiaries of the project are students of Technical school Sisak who will complete their practical training, 45 of them in total and specifically as follows: computer technician in the field of mechanical engineering, technician for electric machines with applied computing, technician for electronics, IT technician and ecology technician. Indirect beneficiaries will be other vocational students when those students who have completed the mobility share their experience with them. Other indirect beneficiaries are the teachers who will accompany the students and other teaching staff as students and teachers, participants of the mobility project, will share their experience with them. Project results will be disseminated through media to other schools and local community so they can comprehend the possibilities and importance of such mobility projects. Moreover, indirect beneficiaries are also the companies that will employ students with newly gained competences.
