The project proposal is aimed at development of several learning materials for the students in vocational training in the field of social and health care to match their demand for such materials when including foreign work placements as part of their vocational qualifications. More specifically, these results are: a handbook for tutors, individual booklets ("Care Work with Mental Health and Intoxicant Abuse-Clients", "Nursing and Caring in Hospitals and Health Centres", "Care Work with the Disabled" and "Oral Care Work"), a model for developing learning materials, leaflets – all envisaged to be used by students for clients groups, e.g. handicapped, hospital related nursing and caring, oral care work, mental health and toxicant abusers. All planned materials shall promote students’ preparation for on-the-job-learning time spent abroad and will be made freely available on web.
