The project aimed to secure new economic opportunities for the local population bypromoting he tourist potential of the region and to achieve joint promotion of thelower Danube region by extending cross-border cooperation in tourist developmentprograms among non-profit, entrepreneur and public sector organizations. Concretesteps towards achieving the mentioned goal were the creation of the water tourisminformation - development centre in Šamorín and promoting the Slovak marketingcampaign for the partner facility at Mosonmagyaróvár.
