The project main objective responds directly to the priority of the Programme: “Strengthening of cross-border environmental education and training”, in particular:√ Strengthening the environmental education among children and youths and providing an innovative an innovative eco-focused approach in the process of integration for vulnerable youngstersThe specific objectives of the project are:√ Creating conditions for ecological education, training, practices and recreation activities for youngsters √ Creating equal conditions and opportunities for ecological practices and other related creative activities for youngsters, including disabled.√ Applying the ecological approach in the efforts for social integration with self-esteem of youngsters, including vulnerable ones√ Creating conditions for ecological practices for all visitors of Sandanski City Park√ Enhancing the cross-border border cooperation on ecological issues.√ Enhancing the partners’ know-how and exchange of experience and good practices√ Creating a common floor for developing creative skills to the target group of the project based in ECOlogy and use of ECO materials√ Creating conditions for future cooperation issues between partners by keeping permanent paths communication after the completion of the project, via forums and tele-equipment.The project also is takes into consideration the horizontal issues of the Programme, as it mainly foocused at environment and equal opportunities for vulnarable social groups, in the process of sustainable development and providing better conditions for the youngsters. Expected Results: The project activities are designed in order to achieve stable sustainability and long-lasting added value to the partners and to the cross border area. All actions lead to strengthening the cross border environmental education and providing better living conditions with main focus to the young generation and children of vulnerable groups.The immediate effects results of the project will be:• Established ECO CAMP in Sandanski, providing modern conditions for ecological education and practices in the ECO CAMP Sandanski, including for children from vulnerable groups• Created green school packages for educational and training eco leisure practices for youngsters, including children from vulnerable groups• Established 2 eco workshops within the Day Care SOS Centre in Alexandroupoulis, providing modern facilities for innovative psycho-therapies • Build capacity in the SOS staff in Alexandroupoulis to provide the needed socio/psycho therapies to vulnerable children, focused at raising their capacity to teach the occupational eco professional activities• Created expertise of the staff of the ECO CAMP for eco education and practices• Exchanged know-how between partner in the sphere of eco practices and psycho therapies to vulnerable groups• Created conditions for stable cooperation between partners in the environmental area and working with vulnerable children
