The grant helps to present one of the most precious historic buildings of the County. The program designers felt that the introduction of the life of the famous Andrássy family to the public presented a previously unexploited opportunity. Plans were prepared to establish relationships between the Andrássy mansions. The aim is to renovate and utilize the Andrássy mansion in Tiszadob as a continuation of the project and thereafter to develop an existing and active co-operation betweenthe mansions. Thereby “Andrássy” Cultural Road will not only symbolise the unity and interdependence of the many members of this once famous family, but it can elicit considerable interest in visitors of the area whose number is surely going to grow.
