There are several problems that teachers find when they teach in compulsory education levels. The main problem to deal with is how to teach students who are not interested in learning and who show a clear rejection to the education system. As Joan Vaello Orts says in his book How to teach those who do not want, obligation itself creates conflict, but no one must give up the social achievement of getting full schooling. Instead of that, we should rather focus on learning to manage these resistances effectively with good teaching practices, what is a generic and structural problem. And this is our main goal, to improve the quality of teaching through good educational practices which are more consistent with the needs and skills of students. Our purpose is to spread the desire to learn more than to teach. We work with students who were born in the age of information technology and communication, who are named "Digital Natives" by Prensky. If we attempt to teach them and make them learn, we must break with traditional school and change the current methodology, leaving a little aside the textbook and using digital formats that young people are identified with and widely familiar. We would like to create a Learning Community. Teachers involved in this project have detected that the process of teaching and learning used in our centre goes very backward related to the dynamics of social change and values which take place nowadays. It has been also detected that despite having many tools at our disposal, we do not take good advantages of them. Another problem we have to face is the need for further training in languages, which is so important in our society due to the fact that its main characteristics are globalization and offshoring of work. If we want to offer our students a quality education, we must be well trained and speak fluently at least one foreign language. Moreover, the third problem we have to cope with is the lack of coordination. Sometimes we focus on our teaching activity and we forget that we are a small part of a whole, a small part of an educational centre, and we cannot get everyone on our side but we have to work together in collaborative groups. Therefore, and to conclude, whether we want to achieve our purpose, we must revolutionize the existing methodology and create an education suited to the times and to respond to our students, to make them be motivated and curious to learn. Hence the need for training that allows us to overcome the aforementioned problems. We already have the tools, but we need good educational practices to guide us on what to do with them.
