BRING NEW WINE IN OLD BOTTLES Why? Because we are a school which is located in a disadvantageous area and can't follow the modern training techniques as well. Yes, we are bringing new wine in old bottles. We will put the most modern training techniques in practice for our school. Our world is in a continuing change and development Therefore we need students following innovations and developments,read a lot,research and produce new projects.By transferring the information to the learners directly,is not enough to reach the best education. Learning by practicing and student- centered educational process is one of our top priority. Our two- year project is with 5 trainers whom will attend courses in various countries. Our school administrators, our counsellor and one of our English teacher will participate in a jobshadowing action in Finland. Common and different methods will be determined and transfered the appropriate ones. The other K1 actions are about 'New methodologies' and 'Teaching mixed ability classes'. With these knowledge and experiences from the courses,in accordance with the purposes making teaching enjoyable,practical,activating and revealing students' creative experiences and interests.It will also help students' effective participation in the courses. Within the project ,we will point out and try to find solutions to the problems stemming from teachers and our weaknesses. By participating the courses; we aim to reach the modern education. Our project includes; cultural diversity, intercultural tolerance,communication and innovation.The project will provide cultural and social contributions to our school and ıts environment. We will extend our project to a wide audience and especially the schools with in disadvantageous areas. Our project is also stated that ; bringing the real world and the European quality in education to the student-centered classroom, would be possible with the well-trained teachers.
