The Clauster Schools Emidio Navarro consists of a considerable number of schools and students of various levels of education . The faculty of the frame features a high mean ages . Initial training / professional , was held mostly in 80-90 years . The training is done regularly in each school year, and focuses primarily on the use of ICT . In Educational Project stands out training through improved knowledge , know-how and the construction of an autonomous citizen, responsible , and participatory . It seeks to improve the quality of teaching / learning , promote success , valuing merit and excellence , reducing dropout and retention . As strengths arise diverse educational offerings , partnerships with training organizations , regular participation in national and European projects , good furnishing in technological equipment and internal evaluation in awareness of the work done . In assessing the priority training needs were diagnosed : educational innovation , the pedagogical relationship and use of educational technologies ; conclusion also removed from the teacher evaluation process , the aspect of planning and implementation . The priorities of the group aimed at improving the quality of learning , more appropriate to the curriculum and learning goals models . Prepared teachers are more necessary because the defined goals and student profile require a major change to the level of practices and tools to monetize the work . New technologies are important tools in the process , but require new skills to develop . Bet on the training of teachers to meet the expressed needs of the school , but a broad perspective and contact with new models and experiences that help and relativize and globalize . It is a bet on innovation and change, but not an artificial innovation of teachers who use new technologies with goals from old pedagogies , who see the change as a process imposed and what is not appropriate and that is soon forgotten. The option lies in a dynamic and collective process of training which is voluntary but aware about the needs , not forgetting that each teacher has a wide autonomy in the classroom . This is a work that will be done in cooperation and with a common goal , which leads to another problem identified : the difficulties of leadership , a factor that hinders communication and coordination in the vertical and lateral perspectives of curriculum development. The leader must accompany , encourage, be able to delegate and to recognize the valences of each and be a driver of the teaching process . It is a task for which most engineers is not prepared. With this design it is believed that new experiments will provide schools, more innovative and more prepared for the new curriculum and pedagogical demands teachers. Selected courses include a set of content that match the needs identified, pointing to areas of improvement in the field of pedagogical practices , with the appropriation of new paradigms of teaching and implementation of new methods and techniques. The Education course for tomorrow, is presented as suitable to stimulate the development of skills of teachers who later will be able to multiply their knowledge to others through reflection and practical work on innovative methods of sharing good practice , and assessment new models of teaching / learning . The course Leading schools into the future , answers to the difficulties diagnosed at various levels of leadership . The choice of these two courses was due to prior knowledge and references the institution responsible to the respective programs and activities to develop . A team of teachers will be selected in order of their competence and motivation to multiply the gains acquired in the courses . The selection will take into account several criteria that go through the presentation of an individual project or a team that is committed to profitable course of learning acquired in favor of the Grouping . After finishing the training courses of actions internally and externally with validation and certification , framed in terms of the training center of Almada will be held , provided with input from experts in Educational Sciences at the Institute of Education, University of Lisbon. An impact on skills development in the areas of teaching , with the appropriation of new paradigms of teaching and learning , adopting new methodologies , creating new resources and implementing new practices and achieve better results are expected .
