The Bildungsgesellschaft mbH Pritzwalk was founded as an independent educational institution in 1991 and provides as an educational service and supporting organization of independent youth aid an accepted work in the Prignitz and Ostprignitz.
This mobility project involved ever educational service providers from Germany and Cyprus and Italy respectively.
A project contains a 3-week placement measure planned by 1st of September 2015 to 21st of September 2015, in the 16 German youth will realize a project in reference to the Cypriot cuisine and Service in Lemeos/Cyprus (training group housekeepers and skilled practitioners kitchen).
A project contains a 3-week placement measure planned by 1st of March 2016 to 21st of March in the 11 German youth complete a project in the home economics in Spoleto/Italy. (Training group housekeeping)
The planned projects are an integral part of the curriculum and here particularly focus on the acquisition and application of additional qualifications in the field of home economics and especially in cooking and kitchen area.
A project contains a 3-week placement measure planned by 1st of October 2015 to 21st of October 2015 in 11 German youth will realize a project in reference to curricular training courses for construction trade workers in Spoleto/Italy. This project is an important part of the curriculum and is orientated specifically to the construction industry.
All participants are disadvantaged youth and are in vocational programs (BBIG/HWO) of dual training for housekeeping assistants, skilled practitioners’ kitchen and construction trade workers. In the project background, we see the need of social and learning disabilities, disadvantaged young people, to show them the possibilities of different ways of work and life to broaden their mind and expand vocational skills.
The aim is to use and transfer of additional skills, curriculum implementation equitable educational content under international conditions, extensive acquaintance of each training area and the operation in the host country.
Within 3 weeks, participants will learn and work in different work areas and business areas in Cyprus and Italy. They will be confronted with commerce and mentality may use and expand their knowledge of a foreign language.
They gain practical and intercultural experience and broaden their mind. By staying abroad there will brought forward also their own communication skills, personal engagement, independence and social behavior.
In addition to subject-related knowledge, the trainees gain key qualifications.
They will be confronted with complex task situations, develop the ability to self-organize, will get social competences and will get to know different methods during the project phase.
As a result, we hope more flexible, motivated, committed and confident young people who successfully operate in the vocational education and training, to bring new ideas and perspectives.
Through the acquisition of diverse skills young people will get a look at the apprenticeship in a different light, they will be more flexible and independent, which is an added value for all (apprentice, school, vocation-centre, future potential employers). They are able to bring in new ideas and innovations in their education and for their future employment.
