Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Experiencing the foreign – an elementary part of peaceful collaboration in the EU The job description of a „Betriebswirt EVM“ is even within the sector “Public Care and Nutrition” often still unknown, but in the alpine region it is however quite common. This profession offers businesses an ideal recruitment due to extensive prior training of staff, which consists of all-round knowledge and hands-on experience instead of pure theoretical education, particularly with regard to efficiency as a foundation of professional quality management. This intense training represents the future demand of specialized education for staff, which is of increasing significance due to the population decline in Germany and Europe. Intercultural requirements on the job market have steadily increased, since employees and clients come from various different cultural backgrounds and life styles. In addition, working experience abroad can be a potential incentive for staff to acquire further qualification. Knowledge and expertise will be comparable through analyses at the host businesses and partnering schools. Through mutual exchange a win-win-situation is created for all participating parties and the opportunity of permanent review will improve the quality of training and of this line of work in each country. Professional and social competence is deepened through experiencing new business management methods and structures, personnel management, forms of organization, style of leadership, QM-processes, and more. Having accomplished professional tasks abroad provides great benefits to the participants, e.g. personal development, self-organization, independence, self-esteem and it also stimulates innovation. Furthermore, to have been in the role of the foreigner, staff develops understanding and tolerance for foreign employees within the own company. These are all qualifications which will benefit job applications as well as support contentment at the future work place. Another aim is the further development of a national and international network within the middle management, and further dissemination of this profession within the country and Europe. The variety of countries visited, offer an extensive learning experience based on the political influence on society, tradition and culture. By including the first- and second-year classes of this training program, the number of participants prior to the internships will be increased. FA-students will chaperone, guide and support the visiting interns from partner countries and will thereby already learn the first steps and educational aims in regard to integration of foreign co-workers. The age of entry for students lies in between 18-20 years, but also employees with many years of professional experience often opt for this further qualification. Two years of full-time educational training is followed by a paid internship of 12 months. Basic knowledge of the English language is required. Participants of this work exchange program are selected based on personal interests, current performance levels, as well as on the available consent of the current employer. Furthermore, the intern has to have financial funds for continuing costs of living at home. - Prior Activities Establishing contact with hosting business and partner school Clarification of requirements prior to work exchange with the foreign business Analyses of this profession abroad Agreement on terms of implementation “Project / project-like grounds” -Methods of Project Implementation First concrete information event one year prior Applications of participants until July Begin of preparation modules in October, once a month Curriculum of preparation modules Exchange in March or April/May respectively After return own evaluation plus database EU Certificates Germany sends three students each to Switzerland and Finland, one to Hungary, in 2014/15
