Fahrten-Ferne-Abenteuer (FFA) is officialy nationwide recognized as an actor within german child and youth welfare service according to KJHG § 75. FFA is offering holiday activities and international youth exchanges based on the adventure based learning methodology. Besides education through sport and outdoor activities focus is put on international exchange and trainings as well as participation of and for all young people. The work and contribution of our European volunteers is an enrichment for our team, our work and our participants. It enables us to establish more and more international contacts and by that to also enlarge the number of the international exchanges we offer. The volunteers have numerous learning opportunities and we also benefit from their assistance and contribution. They are activly involved in preparing, relizing and evaluating the activities and exchanges. According to their abilities and personal interest they can also realize own projects like youth exchanges with their home countries/sending organizations. By doing so they get help and supervision of our core team.
