According to Swot Analysis done in our school, it has been noticed that the rate of early school leaving is high. The detailed search of this case of the schools in our region has been achieved and comparison has been done. It seemed that the highness of early school leaving rate is not only related to our institution but also a serious issue in our region. For the solution, necessary survey, observations, comparisons and interviews have been carried out. It has been determined that one of the most important solutions is to arise the required consciousness level of school personnel, to improve their skills, and increase their knowledge. For that reason , within the frame of EU personnel mobility , attending the course titled ‘Coaching in educational contexts to reduce early school leaving’ in Madrid, Spain is considered to be suitable . Thanks to this project, reaching the targets which are to reduce institutional and regional early school leaving, taking preventive measures, acquisition of awareness about student behaviors, creating positive and supportive school atmosphere, ensuring all the sharers to be grown to maturity for moving respective in the school are our basic priorities. 5 people will take part in this mobility. Participants will have at least B1 level in writing, speaking and understanding in English. The participants will be chosen from the staff who have improved communication skills, are outgoing , social, promoter, open to the other cultures, and compatible, without travel obstacles, co-operative, high attendency level. While implementing the project, the practical methods will be used. Those are constructivism by doing and experiencing, learning in collaboration, discussing, brain storming methods. At the end of the project, the students who have tendency to early school leaving will be identified by preventive measures and provide their continuity to the school. Our project will be used as a tool for the prevention of early school leaving. Creating a positive school atmosphere, will strengthen the communication among teacher, student’s parents and school administration. Within the dissemination activities, regional early school leaving will be reduced. In the long term , project potential benefits will be ensured by training the personnel. Whether we reach out targets or not will be evaluated during and after the course.
