*Summary of the Project / Background of the Project Our students betwen 6-11 ages, who are working at a job instead of studying at school, not having an insurance and having low budget, increase the possibility of early school leaving. When we examine the position of school, we need an educational program to inform teachers and school managers about diognasing under the risk of students leaving school, observing them and finding necessary precautions. *Targets of Project - To take precautions for early school leaving. - To guide and consult students who left the school earlier and persuade them to return the school. - To cooperate with famillies whose children are thinking of leaving the school. - To have students come back educational life who left the school because of any reasons. - To prepare programs and apply them for having students come back to school life. - To improve the capacity of teachers about preventing students from early school leaving. - To increase the role of parents, teachers etc. and effectiveness of them for minimizing early school leaving. - To determine the reasons of absenteeism for students who left school earlier or have possibility of leaving school. - To collect information about solving problems, evaluate them and share the results with other schools. *The number of Participants to the Project&Participants’ Profiles -2 school managers(one of them is an English teacher) -7 class teachers(two of them are English teachers) -1 companion(she is an English teacher) *DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES 1st Activity: Participation of the course is about teaching psychological techniques for decreasing early school leaving. The course, whose name is “Reducing School Leaving”, will be organized between 11st and 15th of October in 2015 in Southampton in England. 2nd Activity:Participation of the course is about early school leaving. The course, whose name is “Early School Leaving”, will be organized between 25th and 29th of October in 2015 in London in England. 3rd Activity:Participation of the course is about preventing students from early school leaving. The course, whose name is “How to motivate students to finalize their compulsory education and innovative teaching and learning methods for reducing early school leaving in a life long learning society” will be organized between 1st and 7th of November in 2015 in Utrecht in Holland. 4th Activity:Participation of the course is about psychological techniques for decreasing early school leaving. The course whose name is“Energy Psychology in the classroom to reduce early school leaving” will be organized between 5th and 9th of March in 2016 in Madrid in Spain. 5th Activity:Participation of the course is about restraining students from early school leaving. The course, which is called “Preventing Early School Leaving” will be organized between 25th and 29th of April in 2016 in Lubljana in Slovenia. *OTHER ACTIVITIES -Organizing educational activities for parents. -Organizing activities about career for students -Educating teachers and school managers for making contributions students’ participation actively. -Visiting parents by school project staff for having possibility of early school leaving. -Preparing magazines, brochure, seminars and meetings. Publishing educational letters to newspapers. -Creating web-site, preparing surveys and interviewing with governer,mayors.To publish the information on the net. Usage Methods During Project In the first of phase of the project we will analyze the current situation and gather information about the reasons of early school leaving and the students’ characteristics. We will use both quantitative and qualitative researching methods to collect data. Quantitatives are about measurable results of survey for the students who left the school earlier; qualititatives are about satisfaction of students, parents,teachers, school managers and members of society in educational areas. Short Explanation of Anticipated Effects and Results We anticipate results and effects about early school leaving project; -Decreasing of the proportion about early school leaving for students. -Decreasing of risk about early school leaving for students. -Improving of students’ commitment to school. -Increasing of students’ sympathy to school. -Making parents and school managers more conscious about early school leaving. -Giving teachers more information about early school leaving. -Raising awareness about the harms of leaving in the school early in society. -Emphatizing with students and parents as a result of learning new methods and techniques. -Leading and guiding in a new study fields in the future. Possible Benefits in Long Term -Determining reasons for early school leaving of students. -Developing the suggestion of solutions. -Making contributions students to continue school life and becoming beneficial people to society. These above bring about progress in terms of social, economical and cultural assets in long term.
