The main objectives of the third year are to continue all activities left from year two and are in line with objectives planned in our action plan annexed to the Framework Partnership agreement (2014-2017).The management and administration of the network has improved already due to the additional staff that was financed by Creative Europe, this will be continued in Year 3.The network will also look for further assistance on national level to support the "national chapters". ERIH intends to establish more thematic task forces as this has proofed to be a very efficient way to work on certain tasks in smaller groups and enables the members to exchange internationally.ERIH will further expand (new members, additional countries) and will continue to work on the list of sites which have Anchor Point quality.With view to 2018 Year of Cultural Heritage ERIH will start working on a concept which activities the network itself but also the members should undertake for this event.The Annual Conference 2016 will be held in Porto/Portugal with the main topic “Industrial Heritage – How to tell the European Story?”The new website will be relaunched in September 2016 the latest and in Year 3 further elements will be implemented and necessary improvements made. Google Adwords to increase the traffic on the website are planned.Also the communication inside and outside the network will be further intensified.ERIH Board members will meet three to four times to discuss and decided about the activities of the network.Also the participation in different conferences is planned to present the ERIH network and further establish contacts to other networks, European associations and EU policy makers. Based on the document drafted in year 2, ERIH will identify the most important and promising contacts and will continue to follow them up.The aim is to have at the end of Year 3 all activities completed which were foreseen in the global action plan and to have a sustainable basis for the long-term management of the ERIH network.
