Rechercher des projets européens

ERASMUS PLUS 2014 PERSONNEL
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

According to the European and international development environment for Saint Vincent Providence's school in Rennes in France, the objectives of the project are about cultural and language skills in order to perform the welcoming of foreign people, mainly English native speakers families due to the American International Section and the English European Section in the school. The goal is also to improve pedagogical methods, included new technology. Finally, with the mobility activities we expect to create links to set up new European school partnerships. Twelve participants, mainly composed of teachers but also staff in responsibility, will attend trainings. The project is planned for one year. The staff were invited to write and submit a form to justify their request. The acceptance have been decided according to the needs in the school. The results are the following ones. Firstly, we expect a more expanded cultural openness and an improvement of English language proficiency, with a return in the class and the welcoming of foreign families. Secondly, the enhanced pedagogical approaches with the knowledges from the courses and the exchange between other European teachers will be evaluated by the use of new equipment and new technology at the coming back. Thirdly, the links created with other European participants will lead to new school partnerships. And it is a double impact. Indeed, the reach of such a project is inside the school, with colleagues, students, parents, closed educational partners. But we expect a wider dissemination, in our town and in our French department of Ille-et-Vilaine, with an information in the local newspaper and also in academic bodies in Education and institutional authorities with meetings. The long-term benefits are based on the willingness to develop the sense of belonging to Europe within teachers team and students. It will be translated into concrete by school partnerships, youth mobilities and training courses for a broader audience.
