Zespol Szkol Technicznych is a school which gives education in technical profiles: environmental protection technician, geology technician with geotouristic innovation, logistics technician, military mechanics technician, electricity technician, trade technician, gas industry technician. Our students have the opportunity to gain general education as well as professional qualifications, and they study two modern foreign languages. Our school would like two of our teachers to benefit from a course, thus increasing their linguistic and methodological competence. Generally they would be directed towards achieving certain golas, gaining experience, information and knowledge, so that in the future they could be able to accomplish goals of European integration with another partners within international projects, designated by the school. Having returned from the course, their task would be to create an Erasmus+ group based on the acquired theory and practice, as well as taking care of educating other teachers. The school is hoping the contacts with other teachers established while being at the course could make it possible to cooperate internationally, thus our school would be able to implement more international projects. Our teachers will be encouraged to produce intercultural projects and with their experience and knowledge they will lead to work optimization. Projects are planned, in which professional specialization and knowledge of a foreign language is necessary, and which are dedicated for students of certain specializations with a certain knowledge of a foreign language. The school suggests a cycle of meetings in every partner school, during which language classes would be conducted and ideas on various topics could be exchanged on an internet forum. Another point of the future project aims to develop professional skills in practice, social and intercultural competence for students, particularly through language learning, professional practice in EU countries and intercultural meetings. The project would make its partners contribute to the development of a common economic region, aiming towards even closer cooperation with European partners and putting more stress on practical education. Groups of students would practice their skills in professional, technical workshops and workplaces cooperating with the project partners. The project would also aim to develop students’ and teachers’ knowledge of the European culture and languages variety, and to help young people acquire basic life skills and competence necessary for personal development, future work and active European citizenship. Young people take part in meetings in partner countries actively and willingly, though it needs more activities on the Internet forum. That is why it is expanded with additional language panels improving vocabulary, spelling and grammar necessary for fluent expression.Our school is hoping one of the long-lasting effects of this project will be establishing firm contacts. Implementing projects in the future would allow our school to open towards international market. Its participants would have an opportunity to meet lifestyles, culture and work of different European citizens and to see what is the chance for the students and the teachers to find themselves in the European market. Introducing an Erasmus+ project means for our school increasing our rank and prestige. The school authorities will be informed about the effects of the project. The school will implement the gained experience and acquired competence of the teachers-participants to the strategic plan of school development through sharing experience and introducing good practice. Participating in the project will let us establish contacts for international cooperation and will open opportunities to function even in the European field.
