This project is based on our experiences gained in the implementation of Erasmus + projects. Since the European Union has formed a single market with some common policies and that seeks to guarantee the free movement of people (among others), every European citizen should have the same rights to find a job in another European country. So that, ICM wanted to give the opportunity and help youth workers that were interested to work in another European country to find ways of participation to improve the approach of them in the field of jobs. The project aims to increase the level of competencies and skills, to help young people and youth workers and to promote equal opportunities for young and qualified people in foreign labour markets, trying to avoid every type of discrimination. The project consists of 1 activity: 1. The mobility of youth workers. Project objectives: Contribute to the realisation of the project in order to achieve the targets of the Europe 2020 strategy and in particular the first target "Employment", and fifth target "Fighting poverty and social exclusion". The specific objectives of the project: 1. Promote equal opportunities for access and participation in the labour market 2. Improve the quality of youth work in Europe. 3. Develop the competencies (knowledge, skills and attitudes) of young people and youth workers 4. Intercultural dialogue 5. Social inclusion and solidarity. The project took place in Jindřichův Hradec, were 12 youth workers from different countries and cultures (Turkey, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic) met. Among all and through the different workshops, activities and discussions, we found out that communitarian immigrants still have to face cases of discrimination and that they do not have the same facilities to get inside on the labour market. Also, and not less important we found out that youth have not enough information about their rights as European citizen, making the process even harder. Finally all participants agreed that unemployment blocks many opportunities and wastes young people potential in society and that since young people learn in many more contexts than just in school, informal and non-formal education needs greater recognition so that no competences remain unused.
