The project Equal Chances for Labour Market comes with an innovative proposal to attract young people with fewer opportunities into the labour market by creating a Guideline (guidebook) with non-formal tools applied, tested and analyzed on pilot target groups from Iasi, Romania.
Kasta Morrely Association will organize the international training Equal Chances for Labour Market, in Iasi, Romania between 10-18 November 2015 with the participation of 30 youth workers and leaders from Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania.
The project aims to accomplish the following objectives:
Objectives:
1. Training the participant youth workers as resource persons in developing employment skills of youth from disadvantaged groups;
2. Improving the teaching professional skills of the participants and increase their capacity of improving the quality, attractiveness and the European dimension of activities that attract to the labor market young people from the vulnerable groups;
3. Development of a Guideline (guidebook) with non-formal tools dedicated to facilitating the integration of young people into the labour market, equal opportunities and social inclusion through employment;
4. Increasing European cooperation between youth NGO's and developing their organization strategy to attract young unemployed people from disadvantaged groups to the labor market;
The training activities based on non-formal education methods will provide the participants an intercultural learning process based on receiving information from experts, professional skills development, exchange of experience and good practices etc. Among the topics addressed in the activities we exemplify: equality of chances, social cohesion, youth with fewer opportunities, labour market integration, organization management, organization strategy development, dissemination methods etc. The methods used are: conceptual delimitation, analyzes, presentations, interactive training sessions, exchange of good practices, portfolios, application of inclusive non-formal tools to the pilot target groups from Iasi, workshops, brainstorming, debates etc.
Among the results of the project are: youth leaders trained in social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, developing and promoting a training kit and a Guideline (guidebook), the realization of 3 web pages of the project on Kasta Morrely and the International Involved Youth Coalition websites etc. At the end of the training participants will receive a Youthpass certificate.
As a long-term impact, the project aims to achieve partnerships, strengthening the capacity of youth workers and promoter organizations to organize Erasmus + projects dedicate to the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities on the labor market.
