The aim of the project and of all proposed activities is to promote the EQAVET recommendation in Cyprus among VET providers and other VET stakeholders. In addition, the project aims at promoting a national approach in the quality assurance of VET and also aims to encourage VET Providers to develop and maintain internal quality assurance systems.In the context of strengthening mutual cooperation among EQAVET NRPs in order to further develop a national approach for Initial and Continuing Vocational Education and Training (IVET & CVET) in Cyprus, we hereby propose the following project activities to be carried out by the Ministry of Education and Culture (EQAVET NRP) and the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA).1. Informative Seminar to stakeholders’ representatives (IVET and CVET providers’ associations/committees, social partners and other key stakeholders) to present the work and objectives of EQAVET.2. IVET-CVET International Experts Workshop (with speakers from EQAVET to present best practices on the quality assurance of VET to the Ministry of Education and Culture, the HRDA and key stakeholders).3. Study Visit of an HRDA officer to one EQAVET National Reference Point with an advanced national approach in the quality assurance of CVET, based on the EQAVET Recommendation.4. Dissemination of EQAVET information to all stakeholders (IVET and CVET providers, schools, social partners and other stakeholders) via the printing of information and promotion material.5. Dissemination of the information to all stakeholders (IVET and CVET providers, schools, social partners and other stakeholders) via the design and maintenance of a Website on the work of EQAVET, the quality assurance of IVET and CVET in Cyprus, best practices, events and other VET information.
