The objectives of 1st GEL Kalamata for development are:1. The modernization of methods of organization and administration of our school through this training program but also from the overall experience of teachers who will participate in mobilities2. Promoting equality, non discrimination and civic competence through the interrelation between language and culture.3. Upgrading the skills of our teachers in the use of ICT in education4. Upgrading of knowledge of English language teachers in British culture issues5. Acquiring competences for organizing cultural educational activities6. Acquiring European profile and orientation7. Upgrading of our educational workThrough our plan we aim to further:1. Upgrade the school organization and management practices2. launch our school's participation in European programs and eTwinning partnerships3. upgrade the use of new technologies in our daily educational practice,4. cultivate our students digital literacy5. enrich the course with the use of new tools and methodologies and increase the interest of our students6. design educational programs outside the classroom in a structured and scientific way, which will increase the learning outcomes of students while offering pleasant and recreational activities. In total the project involves nine persons including the Director and Deputy Director.Our plan includes the following activities:- Participation of two teachers in the educational program "SCHOOL MANAGEMENT"- Participation of two teachers in the educational program "Language, Life and Culture in the UK Today"- Participation of one teacher in the educational program "Interactive media for "interactive "teaching and learning"- Participation of four teachers in the educational program "Discovering Renainssanse in Florence"The impact of the project on the participating teachers is imminent, with the acquisition of new skills or upgrading of their knowledge and abilities. Teachers, through the project, will effectively improve their skills in specific subjects of the educational programs and will gain additional intercultural skills, language skills, work in groups skills and will enrich their knowledge about different educational systems.There will be an important impact on our school as well. The plan has been developed according to the needs of the school and we pursue future exploitation of its results. So after its end, we intend to directly use the results in the following ways:1. Participation in eTwinning actions and strategic partnerships2. Use of ICT in education3. Design of new innovative experiential education programs outside the classroom
