EOM ADL Mob
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

FAF Access Formation is the only training center in France which trains professionals providing rehabilitation and support for visually impaired people : Orientation and Mobility Instructor (OM) and Instructors for Activities of Daily Living (ADL). Our training team consists of ten people, permanent or casual employees. France is one of the few countries in Europe not to connect these two professions, both training are now organized independently. The Ministry of Social Affairs, wants us to work on a redesign of these courses, in order to propose a unique training, with validation of two professional capacities. This project will allow a better support to the visually impaired person, with a better adaptation to their needs but also the support structure. Associating the two courses (OM and ADL) must also allow to optimize both functions and thus provide a dual competence that is necessary. Blista is a German network of visually impaired people, with which the FAF has worked for many years. Blista is already organized as such, and provides a single 18-month training, combining orientation and mobility and ADL. This mobility project therefore aims to achieve two courses of observations within a active structures in adult education. 4 trainers from FAF, in charge of teaching OM and ADL, will travel twice within Blista to understand and analyze the organization of the proposed training and thus to enrich the construction of their own teaching project. During the project, 3 sets of mobility were organized: the first in November 2014 (4 trainers), the second in October 2015 (3 trainers) and a third in June 2016 (1 trainer). The last mobility was scheduled following the cancellation of a trainer in the second, following hospitalization. The three movements were performed within Blista with the teaching staff and the German trainees. They allowed the discovery of a different mode of engineering, participation in courses, exchanges with both the trainers with the trainees, ... These times of exchanges enabled instructors to feed their reflection during the registration phase of the French training RNCP (National List of professional certifications), still ongoing. The working group brings together various professionals and institutions (including the Ministry of guardianship) to merge the two current training in one (as in the German model). Finally, note that German trainers Blista also came (not part of European mobility - equity) on a mobility few days in December 2015.
