The funding helped to design the operation of an environmental protection methodthat greatly contributes to the preservation of the balance of the environment.The aim of the project is to protect the ground water supply and to ensure thesustainable use of the drinking water reserves. In order to achieve this aim thebeneficiary carried out a diagnosis of the eight drinking water supply areas near theborder and identified based on a regional model the protective shapes and protectionareas needed for the practical implementation of water supply protection. The projectinvolves eight water supply areas managed by the Hajdú Bihari Önkormányzatok VízműRt., which are the following: Fülöp, Nyírábrány, Pocsaj-Esztár, Kismarja, Monostorpályi,Bedő, Körösszegapáti, Körösszakál.
