Entrepreneurship Training Program in Education

The project ENTRETOY is about learning/teaching entrepreneurship in a new way. This is also about entrepreneurial school and entrepreneurial attitude concerning everyone. The need (problems to be approached):1. The high level of unemployment among VET school and higher education leavers and graduates.2. The graduates have a lack of confidence, initiative and insufficient key competencies in entrepreneurship.3. Teachers of economical subjects of VET or higher education have insufficient or absent practical experience and are unable to connect learners professional field with entrepreneurial studies.4. Lack of practical courses or mentors in continuing education which could really support starting entrepreneurs.5. Small number of female entrepreneurs.The objectives:* The rise of the quality of entrepreneurship education.* Training the educators of the consortium to have new more effective methodology of teaching entrepreneurship.* Test different methodologies available.* Create a curriculum for the entrepreneurship teachers and other educators or advisors.* Create pedagogical materials for the teachers and other educators or advisors.* Create a curriculum/program for yearly pre-incubation course for higher education and adult learners.The consortium:Belgium: IEPS Jemappes (VET)Estonia: Tartu Art School (VET)Finland: SASKY (VET)Greenland: Niurnermik Ilinniarfik (VET)Spain: Business incubator CEEI-BurgosPoland: Regional Labour Office in BialystokThe activities: Teachers trainings, testing new methodologies (TOY-model from FInland and “Entrepreneurial School” from Belgium), evaluation of the results, combining best practices. The creation of intellectual outputs: 2 curricula and pedagogical materials.The outcomes:1. Students and professionals of VET will have better key competencies of entrepreneurship, initiative and confidence. 2. More female graduates are motivated to become entrepreneurs.3. Graduates are more competitive at labour market.4. New methodologies of teaching entrepreneurship will be used.5. Teachers and mentors will have innovative tools to teach entrepreneurship.5. The cooperation, evaluation and innovation processes in the consortium create a basis for further development.6. An international network for teachers, mentors and students to support entrepreneurship learning processes.The impact:1. More entrepreneurs, more jobs.2. The unemployment level of graduates will be lower.3. More collaboration between vocational schools, incubator centres and jobcentres.
