Entrepreneur - Developing leadership and management skills of owners and managers of SMEs

The aim of the project is to change the management culture of small and medium-sized enterprises. It will develop and set up a distance learning system for entrepreneurs to assist them with the modernisation of human resource management in their SMEs. This implies in particular the delegation of responsibility and authority, training of employees and the use of new technologies. The project will develop individualised training methods, which will enable owners and staff of small businesses to update their skills in their own time and at their own pace. To this end, a distance training system will be designed to transfer and adapt existing administration and skills training packages developed over the years. A methodology will be created to convert existing training material into an electronic format that can be used in distance training. A content server will host and store the educational material in various formats so that it can be distributed via the Internet to current and future high technology communication equipment. A portal will be created for the provision of the distance training material. A series of multilingual training modules will be developed for semi-autonomous and flexible distance training in strategy, administration and skills training.
