ENTREDU – State-of-the-art Survey of Enterprise Education, Analysis and Classification of Results in www-Database

How Europe is educating its entrepreneurs : European countries have different entrepreneurial cultures and these differences are reflected in their VET programmes. The aim of ENTREDU is to tackle this patchwork of cultures to bring a clear and up-to-date view of the situation to all developers of enterprise education and entrepreneurial studies at the vocational level. What ENTREDU can provide is a common frame-of-reference and Europe-wide comparability to help to create new knowledge of enterprise training at vocational level and facilitate transnational academic and pedagogic discussion and co-operation among theorists and practitioners in this field. Such information benefits national education policy makers, helping them to see what measures are being adopted in other Member States. EU policies promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, transnational understanding and co-operation are served by a state-of-the-art frame of reference, on which new measures and programmes may be built. This project started in 2000 and lasted 23 months.
