The title of the Project that has been planned by our school unit is: " Information-Training-Improvement-Internationalisation" and its duration will be twelve months. In the process of the self-evaluation of the school unit and after a discussion among the teaching staff of the school, it was decided that a European Staff Mobility Training Project should be organized with the aim of aiding and supporting the teachers in their educational work while enhancing the quality of teaching. Three permanent teachers of our school unit, one of whom is the Headmistress of the school, were selected according to their skills, their willingness, their team spirit and their diligence. The training activities that have been decided are relevant to: 1) The introduction of the participant teachers to Energy Psychology and their training in the use of its techniques in the school environment so that they will be able to control and reduce the anxiety levels thus improving the positive climate in the school. The participants will be instructed on how to use the tools and strategies of Energy Psychology in order to learn to recognize negative and limiting attitudes and beliefs and be able to change them into positive and supportive ones so as to prevent early school leaving. 2) The acquisition of information and knowledge regarding the educational system of Finland, which is considered to be among the best in the world. The participants will be informed and gain first hand experience of the good practices employed by the Finnish educational model. They will be informed and trained in the transition to digital learning with the use of innovative methods and tools as it is practised in the schools in Finland. They will have a direct, first hand experience of how work is organized in schools and what the up-to-date learning premises might look like as well as gain insight to school curriculum and new methods of in-service training. Both the above training activities will aid and support the European orientation of our school through the contacts and relationships that will be developed among the participant teachers and their foreign colleagues. The above training project will be realized with the use of a variety of pedagogical methods. The aim of the above training plan is to develop and enhance the educational work of the school unit. The participant teachers will act as promoters of the knowledge and skills that they will have acquired for the rest of their colleagues thus inducing both short term and long term benefits for the school staff and the whole school community in general. The expected results include the improvement of the linguistic skills of the participants, the adoption of innovation in didactics, work organization and learning environments, the enhanced transition from non-digital to digital learning, the overall enhancement of the school's educational work, the treatment of school anxiety and of negative, limiting stances, the prevention of early school leaving, the European orientation of our school unit and the promotion and realization of further European projects. We anticipate a long term positive effect of the European project both on the teaching staff and the student population to whom we aspire to implant the will for learning, personal development, improvement and exploitation of skills so that in the future they will become active citizens not only of their country but of Europe as well.
