The project "Youth meeting to promote activism for peace" is a bilateral exchange program between young people from Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Spain) and young people from Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). The first meeting is that describes this project will take place in Santa Coloma de Gramenet from 4 to 11 September 2016 with 20 participants aged 16 to 19 who cover topics such as aspects of the two cultures, human rights and culture of peace and conflict transformation. The meeting will take place in "Space for peace" Cultural Youth Center Mas Fonollar a Catalan farmhouse converted with an excellent municipal equipment. Activities methodology will be participative and experiential and gender perspective will be a permanently considered.. Activities are being created by participants during the process of training they receive during the 3 months before exchange program, so the level of involvement is very high. The activities range from the visit to city institutions that work for social integration, interviews with citizens to pick up impressions of social inclusion in the city, artistic creation to promote activism for peace and a few other more like a trip through the most emblematic places in Barcelona, a talk on cooperation between Barcelona - Sarajevo during and after the war in the Balkans and a visit to the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet. During and subsequent attempts to present the group with the technical and aldermen interested in the group and make dissemination of project progress also presenting the Cooperation Council of the Municipality.The project's impact does not end with the completion of the 8/9 exchange program activities planed and the prior training of the Group of Santa Coloma, fate intended to publicize some public institutions of Santa Coloma products resulting from the project (art-activism, small interviews in video, evaluation, etc) and provide continuity with a second meeting where participants in Santa Coloma de Gramenet may travel to Sarajevo to complete the Exchange.
