At this time where youth unemployment hinders expectations of young people in Europe, especially in southern Europe ,we believe that sharing ideas amongst young people from different backgrounds is vital to promote an analysis that looks towards the solutions and contributes to an empowered perspective on life. We believe that skills gained through informal education can make a real difference in the life - long trajectory of a person, as well as the "soft " social networks that are created in such exchanges. Such skills and networks are the seeds of future interconexion and a true european community, and are the lines we wish to work on in through this project. Cavalcavia RAI and plan to organize a meeting in which two groups of young people interested in photography and living in Naples and Barcelona (10 in each city ) will participate in a workshop on urban and documentary photography from 1 to 15 July in Barcelona ; We will carry out activities of reflection on " the city and work" , starts to explore the city from a visual point of view and contribute to these reflections , workshops to acquire the technical skills to conceptualize an idea, develop it collectively through the language of photography and use the result as a communication tool . The methodology is learning by doing and from constant feeding of the learning process amongst participants, tutors and professionals. The result will be a valuable learning and work to be released and contribute to the debates on the spaces that young people get in the urban environment and labor markets .
