En route pour l'Europe !
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

On the road in Europe ! A training project for “road workers” apprentices. For nearly 10 years, the CEFA Namur organizes a “road worker” training. Currently there is fifteen young people taking the course. The trainer is a skilled worker motivated but sometimes limited in its projects due to the small size of the structure and the impossibility of working with large-caliber machine. In southern France, Mallemort-en-Provence, is a real campus for public works : the “pole formation TP” which enjoys an excellent international reputation. There is a CFA (apprentice training center) equipped with the dynamic and cutting edge. The material means of this training center have nothing in common with the CEFA Namur : 33 trainers, more than 100 hectares of land for practical work, 120 gear roadworks, 6 cranes, ... The CEFA Namur wishes to send its young apprentices in “road workers” in this advanced center for a period of two weeks in order to give them the opportunity to discuss new techniques, work on large-scale projects and conduct machines of all kinds. During this course, beneficiaries from Namur will be integrated into the apprentices group formation "road builder". They will work the following techniques : borders / paving / concrete slabs; PVC pipe fitting; machines driving on simulators and actual practice. For each part of the course, there is a technology training phase and a phase of practical work. They will also be hosted in a local company. At training center, they learn and practice in the "state of the art". This is an opportunity for them to compare this ideal situation with their practice in company where they are confronted with the actual conditions of implementation. Moreover, for these young people from mostly disadvantaged backgrounds, who do not have the habit of traveling (some have never left the Namur region), this stay abroad will also be an opportunity to share moments of everyday life.
