EmployMe! Enhancing Youth Experience & Skills through Participation and Volounteering
Date du début: 1 févr. 2015, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Youth unemployment was a widespread and increasing phenomenon that is strongly affecting, with varying intensity, the whole Europe. The main objective of the project was to highlight young people skills and competencies, emerged during the voluntary work that has been carried out by them throughout their current and past experiences, by ensuring what they are valued in, and being ready to use these skills in every workplace. The project was mainly addressed to young unemployed people (aged 25 to 30 years old), who have finished their studies, active or keen on the world of volunteering. Through the proposed activities throughout the whole YE, we wanted young people expressed themselves, to debate and discuss all together, giving voice to their views, their needs and requirements, their emotions and ambitions. YE Objectives: to allow the learners to acquire greater self-awareness and abilities, including those unknowingly experienced during their activities of volunteers; to inform about what is Europe, and what EU currently offers to young people, what are the main opportunities reserved to them; to develop the entrepreneurial spirit, testing participants’ abilities, stimulating their creativity and increasing the self-confidence; to stimulate the socialization and internationalization processes and the knowledge of the other, becoming aware of what is outside their national borders; to promote the formation of associations and new transnational cooperation forms. In this way, once back in their Country of origin, learners have had all the necessary tools to get to work creating new networks and synergies, generating the so-called Multiplying effect.
