Bilateral youth exchange between participants from Bulgaria and Spain (age between 18 and 30 years) Location: Sofia, Bulgaria Duration of activities : 00.00.2014-00.00.2014 (7 days activities) Participants: 20 people , 10 per each side ( +2 leaders , one per each country) Partner organizations : NG " New opportunities for active youngsters " ( Bulgaria ) and Municipality of Burgillos del Cerro (Spain) Project Summary: The main topic of this exchange is to enhance the competitiveness of young people in search of work, to stimulate intercultural dialogue and cooperation in this field and promote the European identity among young participants . The project is specifically targeted at young people with fewer opportunities living in remote rural areas (participants from Burgillos del Cerro, Extremadura , Spain) . The focus of the project is aimed at increasing the level of training, core competencies and personal and professional skills of young people needed to adapt to the labor market, at promoting mobility on the European labor market, multicultural dialogue and cooperation between young people from different countries in Europe; raising awareness of the European Area of lifelong learning and stimulating motivation and willingness of young people for active social participation. These are also the main aspects of the expected impact of the project in long term period. The project includes a variety of activities and methods of non-formal education such as presentations , debates , role plays , workshops , outdoor activities and more. All of them are related to the promotion of youth activities and tackling youth unemployment , promotion of intercultural dialogue and understanding , and stimulation of European identity awareness. The methodology of the project, jointly developed between the partner organizations and the participants focuses on personal, social and professional development of all participants through the process of training "learning by doing". In this regard, the activities planned under the project and the multicultural environment , promote the active participation of all participants and the development of their skills for future endeavors.
