EMCET de Bank is the name given to an information database of modular training programmes, including methodologies and other support materials, being designed, tested and evaluated by this project. It will assist training organisations in the area of technological Vocational Education and Training to provide flexible solutions to students' training needs and to the demands of a rapidly changing labour market. The available modules, including Modules of Employable Skills (MES), an ILO product already implemented by the partner organisations in Belgium (VDAB) and the United Kingdom (Cambridge Professional Development), are the results of previous projects designed and developed to improve curricula in the area of technological VET. Attention will be paid to assessing the quality of curricula included in the database and offering students the possibility of receiving accreditation using the European network of Modular Training Providers. Use of the database will be publicised through trade journals and a conference in each partner country.
