A strategy has been elaborated to achieve the targets of the project including the following approaches: • Inquires developing to study the potential of the trans-border region in four main directions – business, culture, tourism, administration and social life; • Communities engaging for joint conduction of inquiry studies. The meaning of the project, its advantages and the possible services used by people and organizations will be explained during the inquires; • Electronic platform developing in which will be elaborated information net aiming to connect companies and people in the area of above four directions; • Information centers building in both communities that will maintain the platform, popularize the good practices in the four directions and give information about different projects in European Municipality; • Making pictures and movies of tourist’s and other sites of communities aiming their popularization; • Electronic platform initial loading with textual and multimedia information reflecting the condition of trans-border region at the four directions - business, culture, tourism, administration and social life; • Working out advertising strategy to make popular the project results; • Recurrent joint seminars conducting about the project management; • Seminar conducting with widest participation of trans-border region’s representatives in the spheres of business, culture, tourism, administration and social life. Achievements: The following results were achieved during the project implementation:• An Electronic Platform for cross-border cooperation was developed and put into regular operation. By developing European information centers in Koprivshtiza municipality and in Nis City municipality of Medijana, that give information about the different spheres of both communities’ life, an on-line access to information about the life of communities at both sides of the border between Bulgaria and Serbia was ensured: http://b2bridges.eu/• A joint database was created and integrated into the electronic platform. The database contains official data from both municipalities about their administration activities, tourism opportunities, business companies in the cross-border region, cultural institutions and others;• As a whole 7 578 SMEs are involved and addressed in the Project “Electronic platform for cross border cooperation”. Among them 7158 SMEs are included in Database of the Electronic Platform;• Two training courses were organized and as a whole 60 persons were trained in the frame of the project.
