The funding was mainly oriented at creating an integrated hydrogeological model,a database, a series of maps in order to increase effectiveness in local and regionaldecision-making and development activities. The project assists in the preparationof a hydrogeological characterisation of the region, in drawing a series of maps, indeveloping and constructing wells for underground water monitoring, in launchingthe monitoring activity, in carrying out geodesic measuring of driven wells beforeincluding them in a monitoring network. These are all necessary, among others, for theelaboration of a new hydrogeological model which integrates all aspects of geophysical,geological, hydrogeological, actual natural and social needs.
