Our project is to revaluate and produce semi-precious stones that is still produced with traditional handcrafts and its importance and yield fall into oblivion by using new facilities of technology.It is confirmed by researches that semi-precious stones are still produced by using primitive methods in a few small ateliers in our country where is a heaven of these stones and this doesn’t add intented yield and added-value to our economy.This project’s mainly study and development matter is how semi-precious stones are dressed in The Netherlands and Austria, how is the usage of technology, observing handcraft designing with computer programmes on site, various designs and how they are enriched by cutting special these stones with machines.Apprentice students who study jewellery production branch (precious metal and stone dressing) in jewellery technology section in our vocational training center and qualified instructors , teachers and administrative staff will be participants of the mobility in Vienna in Austria.20 apprentice students and 2 companion teachers so totally 22 participants will go there.Project’s application time is 13 days except road time.In this duration, our apprentice students will examine technologic developments and innovations in handcraft field on site.In the determinated time they are especially given internship and hands-on training the newest technologies by the host partner in their own fields. 13 staff will go to Amsterdam,The Netherlands to investigate technological innovations in classical handcrafts on site.Host partner will organize training activites and help us to detect technological developments.We will learn how the layouts which are done gropely are designed in computers with programs and training of this programs also how the technology give vitality to precious metal and stone embroidery .In the remaining time from vocational trainings, Europe citizenship consciousness will be developed with social and culturel trips.All will be completed in 15 days road included.Host partner will present certificates for each participants at the last day of the mobility.At the end of the project’s traning participants will learn how “stone turn into to art and art to sultante” ( the word sultanate used as wealth and high gain), they will get innovations about consciousness of Europe citizenship, cultural integration and mutual transfer of methods and style.In our country, our participants will have the oppurtunity to apply skills and new technological innovations which they acquire. Our participants will improve language and communication abilties, social and cultural adaptation, self-confidence of living freely and ability to integrate various societies alongside vocational skills.Draft dates for internship mobility : 17 October 2016-31 October 2016, Draft dates for staff mobility: 27 March 2017-10 April 2017. Each training will take place in 15 days road included. Host organizations will assign a guide staff to organize educational and cultural activites and trips.Project will be put into practice by one-to-one applications and expository teaching.All precautions will be taken in order to get maximum benefit for our participants and inital measures will be taken in opposition to a problem so as to carry out project activities successfully.Our participants are expected to get determinated learning outcomes as a result of 15 days training.Our participants will have the oppurtunity to apply vocational and cultural knowledge that they acquired from the project to their sectoral career. Project results and outcomes will be known with dissemination activities that are proper in terms of quality and quantity as visual and written by public opinion.A huge awareness will arise from by sharing outcomes with related ministries, general directorates, TUBITAK , industrial organizations and professional chambers. As a result of this project a dramatical contribution will be provided to our country’s economy and employment area.With this project we will append the signature of a huge consciouness by bringing forward this issue that isn’t come into a question for a long time in our country where is a heaven of precious mine and stone.
