Date du début: 6 sept. 2015, Date de fin: 5 sept. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The wide usage of alternative fuels in vehicles, as well as the usage of hybrid technology in cars, begins to increase. The financial crisis pushed consumers to look for cheaper ways of transportation with their vehicles. Governments, while responding to the requests of their citizens, adopt to the above mentioned technologies. At the same time the car industry listens to the needs of the time manufactures car models with factory installation of the above technologies "LPG-CNG". Also, many vehicles that are already on the road are altered to use two kinds of fuel "Petrol and LPG or Petrol and CNG". The European Commission has set the target of 25% of the vehicles used in European Union in 2020 to be using hybrid technology. The above mentioned technologies offer not only economical transportation but also zero emissions and less environmental pollution. The trainers of the Association of Owners of Garages of Motor Vehicles of Limassol, will have the opportunity to get to know these technologies, which is very important, as in the near future they will be asked to repair, preserve and maintain vehicles of such technology. If someone also considers the gaps of the Educational System in Cyprus in the above subjects, they can easily understand the necessity for finding ways to cover the specific educational needs of the trainees in the field of Vehicle Engineering, through supplementary training, as the one offered through the mobility projects of the ERASMUS+. In the proposed project, 3 trainers of car engineering will participate and Germany has been selected as the host country. The school Bildungsgesellschaft will be the host partner, an organisation that has a great amount of know-how and the appropriate infrastructure for the implementation of the project.
