On february 2009 y. - 2010 y. March the ecological - enviroment protection Youth initiative Project which will involve youth from ten diferrent regions of Lithuania. The equal conditions of participation for all youngsters including those who have reduced possibility to participate in the Project activities will be provided during the Project. Aims of the Project - Project aims to ensure interactive dialogue on ecological and environmental issues among youngsters form different regions of Lithuania. To expand youth's horizon by analysing relevant ecological ant environmental problems also stimulating to search for the most proper ways to join solving those problems. Helping to express point of view and ideas connected to environmental problems stimulate even those youngsters who are more passive to have clear position and not to be unconcerned to the environment. To form positive social skills during the active ecological initiatives and activities.To encourage self-expression of the youth as well as encourage opportunities to choose ecologically self-conscious lifestyle. The members of initiative group are seven youngsters, 3 of them are 15-17 years old. It is planned to involve about 4000 youngsters to different Project activities (in active and passive way). Project activities:-During this project Youth from different regions of Lithuania will create new kind of ecological information system and eco-encyclopaedia by using interactive eco-zones. Also relevant ecological and environmental topics which will be modelled by youngsters will encourage eco culture in different communities. -During the project discussions and active ecological and environmental initiatives and events which will involve youth from different regions will be organised. Youngsters, participating in the project will get possibility to bring their theoretical knowledge (which they will gain during the discussions and workshops) to practice, through different ecological activities which will be held on sun's, wind's, earth's and water's days in different regions of Lithuania.The presentation of results of the project for the different communities will take place during the "Earth day" on 20th of March 2010 y.
