Every year in county of Jaunpiebalga there is a tradition to hold an annual exhibition -fair "Choose Piebalga", which combines unique aesthetic, historical and contemporary material and intangible cultural heritage, promoting speciality of Jaunpiebalga in Latvia and beyond. The main aim of the project is: working in international group of European Voluntary Service volunteers, plan and organize non-formal education activities during the annual exhibition - fair "Choose Piebalga" for participants, emphasing the added value of volunteering, non-formal education and responsible way of living in the various social processes. During the project, two volunteers from Spain and two volunteers from Jordan in collaboration with Jaunpiebalgas young volunteers and project support staff, contributing to the development of local community life in Jaunpiebalga, will plan and organize activities for local people, based on non-formal education and responsible way of living. After EVS activity in Jaunpiebalga they will transfer gained knowledge and skills in the local community of their own countries. Summarizing experience of the project, volunteers will develop photos and/or videos, putting emphasis on non-formal education activities and the importance of responsible way of living on contemporary social processes. Location of the project: Jaunpiebalga, Jaunpiebalgas county. Project activities will be from 07.07.2014. to 08.25.2014.
