Eğitimde Semantik Web 3.0 Kullanarak İçerik Sağlama

Our country has determined the educational target of European Union 2020 in the way of Lisbon Strategy. Within this framework the quality of the education and training system and improving the effectiveness has been shown as one of the main goals. Technology and media tools to increase the effectiveness of education as an important step to achieve this goal are accepted. (It is accepted that technology and the media tools are important steps to reach this goal.)
Fatih Project produced in the content of e-transformation Turkey has been engaging for a while by The Ministry of Education to widespread the effective use of technology and media tools in education. The Ministry of Education has promoted this project with the Information Society Strategy Document, defines the actions in duration of our country becaming an information society ; Development Plans, Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Education and IT Policy Report. İn the content of Fatih Project; smart boards began to be set up to all schools and ipads has been distributed to all teachers and students. As it is mentioned in the plans of credit transfer system in vocational education and training (ECVET) , the training of teachers , who are at the center of education is very important. Knowledge, skills and proficiency that have been acquired in foreign countries by the teachers will enhance the quality of education.
We are providing training in the fields of web programming and the database programming. In almost every phase of this training include the use of media tools. With the developing technology, the importance of the web-based social learning environment and especially the mass communication tools is increasing. For improving the quality of education, developing technology tools should be integrated into education. Nowadays, the internet is the most widely used social communication network. The internet was initially (Web 1.0) used only to obtain information and provide one-way communication.Then with the development of the Web 2.0 the interaction of man began. People departed from being passive consumers and had an active role. With the era of Web 2.0, people started to create, share and interpret content. Today, the time to reach correct information has become as important as reaching the correct information. With the “Semantic Web 3.0” the concept of personalized internet has come into our lives. By the help of the “Semantic web 3.0” tools users will have the opportunity of reaching personal data in a short time. In this sense, the use of new media and the social media tools with this course, will provide trainees ,communication skills development, research and opportunity of researching and expressing themselves.
We are drawing difficulty in providing motivation and academic achievement of our students in the courses. Another problem of our students is inadequte communication with their teachers and friends, and the result of this, seen as breaking away of the students from school. We think that, in order to resolve this lack of communication, make them follow the courses and communicate with each other outside the school, preparing web portals and creating Web 3.0 Education groups on various social networks would be helpful for our students. In this respect, the course of “Social Media Master Class for education in semantic web 3.0” will provide our staff to enhance their personal skills and transfer their experience to their students.
With the course of “Social Media Master Class for education in semantic web 3.0”, teachers are aimed to;
-Develop critical perspective on etiology of communication and the education with intercultural interaction.
-Create online sharing and publishing skills by using rich media content
-Have the competence of development of e-learning enviroments for the students that have not actively participated in the education because of different obstacles.
-Create lesson plans design,planning and writing samples by using social media and content supplying applications.
-Enable group sharing by applying social media and content supply in their classroom environment.
Our staff who have reached the identified target, will ; Increase the gains in learning and teaching skills by using social media, content development and “semantic web 3.0” tools. Their self-confidence will increase in professional-sense. They will maximize the motivation of themselves and their students with this training. In addition, our staff will transfer their acquired experience to the projects that will be made in the following years.
In addition to this, our teachers will create an e-learning environment for the students. Workshops will be hold in our school with the participation of all teachers. Our project will be held in Spain between November 8.-14. 2015 with the participation of 3 teachers from the Information Technology Departmant and 1 teacher from Electric-Electronics Technology Department.
