As Edirne Provincial Directorate of National Education,we give importance to increasing the quality of education and training systems,internationalization of our schools,increase the diligence in education at all levels towards creativity and innovation including entrepreneurship, adaptation of innovative tablet using into lessons as currently we started to use tablets in high schools and establishing student-friendly classrooms. In order to accomplish our goals in 2015-2019 Strategic Plan,in the presidency of Provincial Director of National Education,an Innovation Council has been established including 4 EU Projects Department Staffs, 6 Branch Managers, 3 Strategy Development Department Staffs, 4 ICT Coordinator Teachers and an action plan has been made in order to increase the competence of school managers and teachers in the three training field. In addition,international mobility is part of professionalization plan of our institution and teachers.The education to be taken within a multinational group will bring a European Added Value to our schools in the area through our teachers. According to the determined needs in three different training field,in the first course to be held in Portugal between 11-17 October 2015,the participants will take the training in the following subjects:Draft School Development Plan Preparation according to Internationalization,International Project Development,Applying successfully to Erasmus+,Development of Cirriculum at international and European Level,Developing the international competence of participants for international projects. In the second course to be held in Spain between 6-12 March 2016,the participants will take the training in the following subjects;tablet using in classrooms,basic use of social media skills,image and audio file preparation,Flipped Classroom,observing tablet using in lessons,create a short video,learning the different usages of tablets,how to bring the usage habits to the lessons,different examples from countries which use the tablets practically. In the third course to be held in Finland between 4-9 April 2016, the participants will take the training in the following subjects;job shadowing in classroom,school management and teaching methods,the observation in science,maths and reading classes,discussion on the process from non-digital to digital classrooms,innovative applications monitoring,adding digital learning into curriculum and development plan,creating innovative learning environments,planning future classrooms, benchmarking workshops and drafting school development plan. Participants’ acquisition will be evaluated through the documents analysis which is a qualitative and quantitative method.This project will bring the participants with different educational backgrounds and skills together and equip them with extensive analysis and reasoning capacities at local and regional level.Each participant will also be a guide to modernize the administrative and training environments both in the city centre and region. Besides the positive impact of participating an international course abroad and self-confidence,participants will contribute to the transformation of schools/institutions into the environments with education of high quality,better international projects,supported staff for self development,multicultural awareness,engaged in international cooperation.In the long run,the project will be a touchstone for the modern,international and student-friendly schools.
