The project is focused on the effective use of new technology in teaching foreign languages.
The project objectives are to improve and develop the digital competence of teachers in English and through the widespread use of their acquired knowledge - providing modern and high quality language teaching; developing partnerships and cooperation between schools and other training centers; developing of partnerships as an additional tool for the implementation of best practices.
The participants on the project are three - two English teachers at upper and secondary school and a teacher of technology at primary school, experienced in the use of technology in class, who need training and new look at the problem how to use technology in the classroom.
The activity begins with getting the stuff acquainted with the National call for proposals; announcing the selection procedure of candidates; selection of courses that meet the needs of our school;the selection of participants in mobility by clear criteria; preparation of candidates; sending an inquiry to the training centers asking about the opportunities of training; signing the grant for the implementation of mobility; technical part of the implementation of mobility; participating in the courses’ sessions; presentation of reports on what has been learned and spent; sending these data in NA in a short period, dissemination of results relating to the effective implementation and widespread use of technology in the learning process; organizing demonstrations and workshops of what has been learned.
Communication between partners’ organizations is carried out in correspondence via emails and phone calls .
The planned training will improve the level of professional competences of the participants and they will improve their own language skills, will be acquainted with the latest pedagogical and technological developments in the classroom, will raise their awareness on how to use technology in training and will have a direct impact on students and motivate them to learn.
Participants will share ideas and experiences with their European counterparts and join the mailing list of teachers in the EU participated in previous courses and so will communicate with other teachers from Europe, which promotes cooperation for the development of future projects.
