ΕΦΑΡΜΟΓΕΣ ΓΕΩΘΕΡΜΙΑΣ ΧΑΜΗΛΗΣ ΚΑΙ ΜΕΣΗΣ ΕΝΘΑΛΠΙΑΣ
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Geothermal energy is a mild and practically inexhaustible energy source, which can cover extensive heating and cooling demands and in some cases produce electricity, thanks to modern technology. Geothermal energy is already being used for territorial, district and greenhouse heating, aquaculture, thermal baths, several industrial solutions and many other applications. In special circumstances, the negligible environmental and economic burden associated with the use of geothermal energy, makes for a factor of improvement of living conditions of those who practice and contribute to local, regional and national sustainable development. Low and medium enthalpy geothermal energy is of the most gentle, reliable, economical and environmentally friendly technologies, able to extensively and efficiently cover heating, cooling and hot water needs of any installation. The program investigates these uses and applications of low and medium enthalpy geothermal energy technologies in industrial, agricultural, touristic and other holdings, as well as conventional buildings. The main objective of the program is to develop new skills for managers and human resource managers who will participate in educational activities, through development of new knowledge and advanced professional skills, which can be smoothly integrated in their profession. This process serves the Federation’s strategic plan In the following key areas: - Creating staff capable of meeting market needs and demands with the provision of specialized and certified knowledge and skills in a subject directly related to industrial and residential needs, - Enhancing participants’ personal confidence and professional awareness, - Encouraging active participation in learning and know-how transfer processes, - Developing mechanisms to support employability in the European job market. Observing the increasing application of geothermal energy, the Federation has designed this mobility proposal, taking into account the educational needs of its members regarding: • Insufficient theoretical knowledge base • Wide practical application deficiency • Difficulty to adapt to scientific and technological developments • Difficulty to adapt to new business and economic data • Reduced number of skilled manpower • Uncertainty about professional development • Reduced competitiveness of micro enterprises in the sector The program will be implemented with the participation of 60 trainees and feature two flows of 15 days each. The educational content of the program will include a series of theoretical (lectures, presentations and seminars) and practical (valuations, workshops) activities in collaboration with national and regional stakeholders related to the utilization of renewable energy sources. Additional placements will include the following companies, which are leading in the industry: 1. CLIMAVENETA GROUP (www.climaveneta.com) 2. ROSSATO GROUP (www.rossatogroup.com) 3. FIORINI INDUSTRIES (www.fiorinigroup.it) 4. LARDERELLO (TUSCANY) Geothermal Plant 5. ARISTON (www.ariston.com) 6. MONTECATINI (TUSCANY) Geothermal Springs The expected benefits enjoyed by participants of this mobility project, will be: • Enriching theoretical and practical knowledge regarding low and medium level enthalpy geothermal energy • Evolving personal and professional profile through exchange of ideas and experiences • Utilizing personal experiences • Increasing self-esteem and sense of security • Developing critical ability and mature thinking • Strengthening professional conscience • Enhancing employability of youth • Developing team spirit and adaptability • Creating capable executives to meet entrepreneurial requirements • Remove potential risk of underemployment and unemployment.
