The representatives of organisations taking part in the project are the best specialists on ecological construction. They have acquired their knowledge and skills principally as autodidacts but also by participating in different trainings in Europe and elsewhere in the world. So far in Estonia the trainings about ecological construction have been basically for the amateurs; there is a lack of professional and thorough learning materials as well as competent trainers who could hand on their knowledge, skills and experience in a logical and clear way. The enterprise Saviukumaja OÜ would like to initiate the creation of a training centre on traditional and ecological art of construction which will promote, counsel and teach the use of traditional and ecological solutions in construction and part of the general life as well. We are basically focused on clay as the historical local construction material in South-Estonia. We value local traditions as well as the traditions from other countries and people, organize local and international trainings in order to share experience.As we will continue our intense international cooperation and trainings, we would like to be known as a professional training centre in Europe and elsewhere in the world. We would also like to assist local people interested in taking part in trainings with our international partners. Objectives - To boost:o organisational, administrative and managing skills in planning trainings, managing the training centre and organising the study program in the training centre,o capabilities of creating new teaching materials,o teaching competences;- To increase knowledge and skills in the field of natural construction, especially in clay construction techniques, - To strengthen the cooperation between partners,- To connect organisations working on the same field, including their activities and opportunities,- To inspire the creation of innovative solutions in ecological construction,- To widen the network on international level,- To give a possibility for self-reflection,- To improve the language and communication skills.Number and profile of the participants 9 representatives from organisations on the field of ecological construction, including clay construction - the very best masters, practicing ecological construction, and potential trainers in the future construction training centre. Description of activities - Visiting the training institutions of clay construction;- Participating in theoretical and practical trainings;- Participating in conferences and seminars about clay construction;- Work shadowing in our European partner organizations; - Teaching in international courses in our European partner organisations. Project management methodologySaviukumaja OÜ is responsible for all the aspects of project management. Project leader is responsible for the technical and practical administration of the project as well as the general project supervision. She prepares the learning trips; organises the communication between project organisations and partners, deals with practical aspects of travelling as accommodation and transport. Finally she will summon up the project results and finalise the project report. Expected impact and description of results, including longer perspective - Considerably improved capability of organising trainings, administrating the training centre and organising the study programs;- Organisations are able to develop new, easy-to-access learning materials;- Improved teaching capabilities of people active in ecological construction: better planning and preparing of trainings, improved pedagogical methods, flexible approach taking into account the previous skills, experience and knowledge of participants ; -Representatives of organisations taking part in project have acquired new knowledge and skills on natural construction, especially clay construction;- Increased communication and improved cooperation between project organisations, a common network as actor in organising trainings on ecological construction; - Project partners have visited similar organisations in Europe, shared experience on activities and possibilities;- Inspiration for new ideas, creating innovative solutions and cooperation on local and international level; - Project members are capable of measuring the capability of their organisation, training needs and their position among similar organizations;-Improved language skills in order to organise international trainings;- Increased professionalism of project members, capability of transferring their knowledge to new specialists; -Improved quality of ecological builders contributes in wider perspective to improve the awareness of the population about the use of natural building materials and improve the popularity of ecological construction; -Improved awareness, capability, activity and cooperation will contribute to the preservation of traditional art of construction
