Date du début: 2 nov. 2014, Date de fin: 1 nov. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The system of education in Poland undoubtedly needs changing. We all feel it - teachers, students and their parents. Taking part in Erasmus+ we want to learn how  to look at the education from a different perspective. CZAS NA ZMIANY! As a result of this, the head teacher together with the teachers in our school have made a decision: TIME FOR CHANGES! Years long hard work of teachers, parents and students has brought about a good opinion that the school prides in. We do not want and cannot squander our efforts. Hence we undertake another challenge with the aim of introducing pedagogical innovations like using English in maths and science classes, and teaching after lesson classes in foreign languages. The above mentioned undertaking is expected to increase students’ language competence. To achieve this, the teachers need methodological and language training. All teachers at school will be involved in the project. However, to achieve the objective, seven of them need appropriate training. These are: the teachers of English, German, physics, maths, the librarian, the pedagogue. All listed teachers were engaged in learning about Erasmus +. At the same time, school’s needs were identified and analyzed against the modern system of education. Thanks to that, the aim has become clear : we want our school to become more attractive and prestigious in the local area. The teachers took a look at the documents and training courses and finally selected the courses that should help them achieve the aim. The selected training courses are expected not only to develop teachers’ language skills, but first of all, to increase the knowledge of new, activating teaching methods that could be immediately put into practice. The gained experience will be used during the lessons improving the quality of teaching in our school. The expected results are elements of foreign languages used to teach maths and physics and teaching after lesson classes in foregn languages. The library is the place regularly frequented by students and the librarian will be involved in the project too. Accessibility will be an asset of our activity, i.e. every student will participate in the project during the physics classes (only one physics teacher at school). All these undertakings will aim to increase and reinforce language competence of every student in our school, to stimulate them to effective language learning and using it in everyday situations like talking to students in a befriended school in UK on Skype. It should help them meet new people around the world, find needed information in a foreign language or use foregn language literature. We want our student to be a conscious European who knows foreign languages and knows benefits he or she may derive from it. Our school must become attractive and competitive in the area. We want both the parent and the student to see only positive things about the place influencing the child’s future.
