TERMINÉ
Project „Education without barriers- support for students and staff of vocational schools from Westpomerania voivoships of the rural and the urban-rural areas" assumed participation:
- in professional internships - group of 40 students of vocational schools of the province of Westpomerania, rural and urban-rural areas, studying nutrition and food service or construction;
- in „job shadowing” trainings- groups of 15 teachers a practical apprenticeship from vocational schools in rural areas and urban-rural areas.
Such groups, mentioned above, took place in organizes mobilities.
Groups for internships for students have been organized into the following groups:
-20 people;
-13 persons
-7 people
Internships in such groups were dictated by the capacity of the schools that they do not interfere with the line of teaching and exams.
Teachers have been sent to a weeklong training in two groups: seven and eight-member.
The pupils stayed under the care of the guardians from Poland. During the placement the students realized the issue referred to the foundation of the training programme in the competition: techniques for nutrition and food service, construction and have gained practical knowledge of performing the profession.
The main aim of the project was to develop the professional skills and language skills and the awakening of the creativity of the participants, and thus enhance the quality and attractiveness of vocational training, which was achieved through organized mobility.
In the context of the professional needs of a group of school pupils and teachers project has achieved such objectives as:
1. creativity and entrepreneurship of project participants;
2. improvement of language skills, openness and intercultural sensitivity. Raising awareness on cultural difference;
3. acquisition by participants the practical professional skills;
4. transnational mobility on the European labour market,
5. the implementation of innovative educational solutions for raising professional qualifications,
6. increasing the faith in their own ability and awakening the characteristics of entrepreneurship.
The results achieved after the monthly internships :
-the participants know the organisation of work in companies, they have learned to function in the employer-employee relationship, interact with other employees and have learned to mandatory and punctuality.
-participants have increased their self-reliance, which has helped to take responsibility for themselves, resulted in the need to adapt to the new environment and to communicate in a foreign language.
-it has affected the mobility of the future. It trained in them the willingness and openness to changes related to the workplace and residence in order to find employment.
- the participants got acquainted with the European standards.
-teachers made up their professional knowledge of the realities of work in the factories and got acquainted with modern technologies and techniques to work in factories, which translates to better the impact of their work.
All these aspects affect the greater attractiveness of schools, and in the future impact on the greater economic development in the regions.
The commitment of Partners build a strong relationship that has resulted in complex consecutive projects.
The project has strengthened the position of schools in rural areas and urban-rural areas and gave the opportunity, to young people with the difficult access to education, for the education without barriers.
