Education Staff Mobility for European Smart Education
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The objective of the "Education Staff Mobility for European Smart Education" project is not only to enable different staff members from professional and technological progammes of Lycée La Providence, Blois, France, to enrich their knowledge as to the functionning, pedagogical methods and practices in different countries of Europe, but also to observe which means and tools are used in these countries to prevent drop-outs and how they operate to guide students in their studies or professional project, whatever their social backgrounds, origins, abilities to learn, and handicap. Two of the main statements of Lycée La Providence 's mission statements are, on the one hand, to give each student the oportunity to build his or her own academic or professional pathway , and, on the other hand, to open one's mind to Europe and the world. To this purpose, a "European section" has been created in technological classes and professional classes are currently working on a Comenius project. The Erasmus + KA1 mobility programme is thus a real opportunity for the staff to widen their views, get inspired from the observed methods and increase their skills in mastering a foreign language. In the first year of the project, participants involved will be those that are more or less implied in the "European sections" or in the Comenius project, so that they can optimise their experience. In the second year, the opportunity will be offered to all the actors of the other courses who will be guided by their first year- project peers. La Providence school has already identified partners amongst its institutional partners abroad, and staff training or teaching mobilities will be carried out in Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands or Sweden. The result of these experiences will enable each participant to make suggestions, propose tools or improvements at the internal level, and to strengthen partnerships to make them sustainable and so make it easier to organise either study and/or workplacement mobilities in the future for French or partner schools'students.
